Goynuk Canyon is a narrow limestone gorge in the Taurus foothills inland from Kemer on the Turkish Riviera, close to the village of Goynuk and roughly 15 km from Kemer and 55 km south-west of Antalya (confirm). A clear stream flows along the bottom of the gorge under high pale walls, and a wooden boardwalk, bridges and steps carry walkers deep into the cool shade of pine, plane and oak. The air is noticeably cooler than on the coast, the rock is damp and green with moss, and the stream gathers in small pools and cascades. Facilities at the entrance include a tea house, a picnic area, restrooms and a small shop. Some operators offer optional activities such as rafting or a zip line in the nature park (confirm), though the boardwalk walk is the main draw. Spring is green and wet, summer is the main season for cool escapes from the beaches, and winter brings closures after rain. A visit takes two to four hours.

The canyon is usually open daily in the main season, roughly from 09:00 to 18:00 from April to October, with shorter or no service in winter (confirm). The tea house and the restroom block keep their own hours. The boardwalk can close without notice after heavy rain, and the stream rises quickly, so check conditions before you leave Kemer. Leave the gorge well before dusk, as the path is unlit, and confirm opening, fees and any activity bookings with your hotel or the entrance office.
