Grand Canyon West and the Skywalk

Hualapai Tribe — Outside Grand Canyon National Park · Peach Springs, Arizona

The Hualapai Tribe's tourism centre on the western Grand Canyon, about two and a half hours from Las Vegas and far from the national park, best known for the Skywalk: a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway opened in 2007 that projects about seventy feet over the rim at Eagle Point. Shuttle buses link Eagle Point, Guano Point with its wide river views, and a western-themed ranch. General admission covers the viewpoints; the Skywalk costs extra. It is not part of Grand Canyon National Park, no park passes are valid, and personal phones and cameras are not allowed on the Skywalk. It is run entirely by the Hualapai, and a visit supports the tribe.
