Grand Ole Opry House
Music Venue · Nashville, Tennessee
The purpose-built home of the Grand Ole Opry, the weekly radio show that has run continuously since 1925 and is the longest-running broadcast in American history. The house opened in 1974 and seats about 4,400 on church-style wooden pews. Set into the middle of the stage is a six-foot circle of oak cut from the floor of the Ryman Auditorium, so that every performer still stands on the boards the Opry was made on.
2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville, Tennessee, 37214, United States
Show nights typically Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, with extra dates in summer and holidays. Daytime backstage tours most days. The Opry relocates to the Ryman Auditorium downtown for part of the winter — check the date.
