Granite Hot Springs

Bridger Teton National Forest — Concessioner Run Pool Built By The Civilian Conservation Corps · Jackson, Wyoming

A concrete soaking pool built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, fed by hot springs in a forested canyon beneath granite cliffs in the Gros Ventre Range, about 35 miles south-east of Jackson. In summer it is reached by about 10 miles of gravel road from US 189/191 in Hoback Canyon; in winter the road is not plowed, and visitors arrive by snowmobile, dogsled tour, skis or fat bike. A concessioner runs it for a small fee, and Granite Falls is just downstream. It is run by a concessioner on Bridger-Teton National Forest land. The water is cooler in summer and hottest in winter, and the fee is paid in cash. In 2026 it opened 10 AM-7 PM from mid-May to Labor Day, 10 AM-6 PM after Labor Day, and 10 AM-4 PM in winter.
