Hershey's Chocolate World
Fec · Hershey, Pennsylvania
The Hershey company's visitor building, immediately outside the gates of Hersheypark, built in 1973 when the actual factory stopped admitting the public. Entry is free and so is the ride at the centre of it — a slow indoor dark ride through a simulated chocolate factory with singing cows, which has run in some form for fifty years and which several generations of American families have been through. Everything else is a paid add-on or a shop, and the building is arranged so that every exit delivers you into one.
101 Chocolate World Way, Hershey, Pennsylvania, 17033, United States
Open daily, year round, generally from mid-morning to evening with longer hours in the Hersheypark season and over Christmas. It opens earlier and closes later than the theme park, and it stays open through the winter when Hersheypark is closed. Entry and the main ride are free; the other experiences are ticketed inside.
