Nearly six thousand acres of glacial hill country in west Oakland County, holding Haven Hill — the country estate Edsel Ford built in the 1920s, now a National Natural Landmark for the four forest types that meet on one hillside. The mountain bike loop here is among the more demanding in southern Michigan and the equestrian network is the largest.
