Hollywood Beach Broadwalk
Promenade · Hollywood, Florida
Two and a half miles of brick promenade running directly along the sand between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, laid out in the 1920s and closed to cars ever since. It is spelled Broadwalk deliberately, it has separated lanes for walkers and cyclists, and it carries a large enough seasonal Québécois population that a good deal of the signage and conversation along it is in French.
101 North Ocean Drive, Hollywood, Florida, 33019, United States
A public promenade, open at all hours and free. Cafes and rentals keep their own hours; bandshell concerts run seasonally.
