The most visited state park in Florida, and a barrier island you can drive straight onto — four miles of Gulf beach, one of the last virgin slash pine stands in South Florida with an osprey nest in what feels like every tree, and the only dog beach in the Tampa Bay state park system. It is also the ferry terminal for Caladesi Island next door.
