Indiana Caverns
Show Cave · Corydon, Indiana
A show cave near Corydon opened to the public in 2013, part of the Binkley Cave System, which is the longest known cave system in Indiana. The tour combines a walking route with a short underground boat ride, and its distinguishing feature is an Ice Age bone bed — the bones of Pleistocene animals that fell into the cave through a sinkhole and were preserved where they landed, including bison, black bear and peccary, left in situ rather than excavated.
