Jacksonville Beach

Beach · Jacksonville Beach, Florida

The middle of twenty-odd miles of uninterrupted Atlantic sand that Jacksonville calls, simply, the Beaches — wide, hard-packed, and backed by a low-rise town rather than a wall of condominiums. It is the working beach of Florida's most populous city, which means it is busy without being a resort, and it is one of the few Atlantic beaches in the state where the buildings stay out of the way.

1st Street North, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, 32250, United States

A public beach, open at all hours and free. Lifeguard coverage is seasonal and at staffed towers only. Metered parking is enforced.
