John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

Florida State Park · North Palm Beach, Florida

The only state park in Palm Beach County, occupying a stretch of barrier island reached across a long boardwalk over the Lake Worth Lagoon. Behind the beach sits one of the last subtropical coastal hammocks on the southeast coast, and the rock reef just offshore makes it one of the few places in the region where you can snorkel straight off the sand.

10900 Jack Nicklaus Drive, North Palm Beach, Florida, 33408, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. The nature centre keeps shorter hours and the beach tram runs a posted schedule.
