Johnny Cash Museum

Specialty Museum · Nashville, Tennessee

A privately assembled museum on Third Avenue in downtown Nashville holding what is generally accepted to be the largest collection of Johnny Cash artefacts and memorabilia anywhere, gathered by a collector over decades and opened to the public in 2013. It is one long floor rather than a grand institution, and it works because the material is genuinely his — handwritten lyrics, stage clothes, guitars, letters, and stone from the wall of the House of Cash that burned.

119 Third Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee, 37201, United States

Open daily, generally 9 or 10 AM - 5 or 6 PM, including most public holidays. A combination ticket with the Patsy Cline Museum in the same building is available.
