Kansas Speedway
Racing Circuit · Kansas City, Kansas
A mile-and-a-half tri-oval on the western edge of Kansas City, opened in 2001 and repaved a decade later with variable banking that made it considerably better to race on than it had been. It holds NASCAR Cup weekends in spring and autumn and it is the anchor of a development that grew up around it — an outlet mall, a casino and a Major League Soccer stadium all within walking distance, which is unusual and makes a race weekend here easier than at most tracks.
400 Speedway Boulevard, Kansas City, Kansas, 66111, United States
Not a year-round visitor attraction. Two NASCAR Cup race weekends a year, spring and autumn, plus scheduled driving experiences, ride-alongs and facility tours on non-event dates. Outside those the facility is closed to general visitors — check the speedway calendar before travelling.
