Kemah Boardwalk
Promenade · Kemah, Texas
A waterfront amusement and dining boardwalk on Galveston Bay, half an hour southeast of Houston — a wooden roller coaster, a Ferris wheel, a carousel and a strip of restaurants along the water where the bay meets Clear Lake. It is the closest thing Houston has to a seaside pier, and where the city goes on a Saturday when it does not want to drive to Galveston.
215 Kipp Avenue, Kemah, Texas, 77565, United States
The boardwalk is free to walk and open daily; ⚠ RIDE OPERATION IS SEASONAL AND WEATHER-DEPENDENT and much of the amusement side may not run midweek or in winter — check kemahboardwalk.com before driving out. ⚠ RIDE AND WRISTBAND PRICES ARE NOT STATED HERE; I could not verify them.
