A working fruit farm at Central Lake, in the belt of northern Michigan that grows the large majority of America's tart cherries. Its u-pick tart cherry season lasts two or three weeks in July and is the reason to come — this is the fruit almost nobody outside the region ever picks, because almost nowhere else grows it at scale.
