Kings Island
Amusement Park · Mason, Ohio
A large amusement park north of Cincinnati, opened in 1972 to replace a riverside park that kept flooding, and built around a third-scale Eiffel Tower you can ride a lift up. Its defining ride is The Beast, the longest wooden roller coaster in the world, which leaves the park proper and runs for four minutes through wooded ravines with almost nothing in sight.
