Laguna Beach
Beach Town · Laguna Beach, California
Seven miles of coast broken into more than thirty separate coves, most of them reached by a stair down a bluff and invisible from the road. An artists' colony since the early 1900s, the town still stages the Pageant of the Masters each summer, in which volunteers pose inside recreated paintings — a thing that exists nowhere else.
