LAX Theme Building

Modern Architecture · Los Angeles, California

The white parabolic arches straddling the centre of Los Angeles International Airport, built in 1961 when air travel still felt like the future and designed by a team that included Paul Williams, the first Black member of the American Institute of Architects. It is the most optimistic building in Los Angeles and you can only look at it.

201 World Way, Los Angeles, California, 90045, United States

Exterior viewing only. Public access to the deck and restaurant has been closed for years.
