LBJ Presidential Library

History Museum · Austin, Texas

One of fifteen presidential libraries run by the National Archives, on the University of Texas campus, covering the life and presidency of Lyndon Baines Johnson and the Great Society that reshaped American law. It holds a recreation of his Oval Office, Lady Bird's office, the presidential limousine — and an unusually unflinching treatment of Vietnam, which is what separates it from most presidential libraries.
