Long Key State Park

Florida State Park · Long Key, Florida

A quiet middle-Keys park of shallow flats, mangrove and tropical hammock, on the site of the Long Key Fishing Camp where Zane Grey chased tarpon until the 1935 Labor Day hurricane destroyed the whole thing. The oceanfront campsites face east across water barely deep enough to stand in, and the sunrise from them is the reason people book a year ahead.

67400 Overseas Highway, Long Key, Florida, 33001, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year.
