Lost World Caverns

A single enormous chamber in the limestone under Greenbrier County, reached by a stairway descending around 120 feet from a small building outside Lewisburg. It is a National Natural Landmark, it is walked self-guided rather than on a timed tour, and it holds the Snowy Chandelier — a stalactite formation weighing something in the order of thirty tons, among the largest in the United States.
