Lucas Oil Stadium

Stadium · Indianapolis, Indiana

The retractable-roof stadium in downtown Indianapolis, opened in 2008 as the home of the Indianapolis Colts, with a roof and a large north window that both open to the city skyline. It is the permanent home of the NFL Scouting Combine, has hosted a Super Bowl, and takes a repeat rotation of NCAA Final Fours and college football championships — Indianapolis bids for and wins large indoor events at a rate no comparably sized city matches, largely because the stadium, the convention centre and the hotels are connected by enclosed walkways.

500 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46225, United States

Event-driven. Colts home games September to January; NCAA and other championship events in rotation. Public stadium tours run on non-event days on a published schedule and must be booked — they are cancelled at short notice when the building is in use.
