Luckenbach

Music Venue · Fredericksburg, Texas

A town consisting of two buildings — a post office and general store that doubles as a bar with a stage out the back, and a dance hall — down a gravel road off FM 1376 in the Hill Country. Hondo Crouch bought the whole place in 1971, Waylon Jennings put it in a song in 1977, and people have been turning up to sit under the live oak and play guitars ever since.

412 Luckenbach Town Loop, Fredericksburg, Texas, 78624, United States
