Magic Springs Theme and Water Park
Arkansas'S Only Full Scale Theme Park, Opened 1978 At Hot Springs, Combining A Ride Park With The Crystal Falls Water Park On A Single Ticket. · Hot Springs, Arkansas
Magic Springs is the only full-scale theme park in Arkansas, which is most of its significance - families in this part of the state either drive here or drive to Branson or Dallas. It opened in 1978 on a wooded hillside at the eastern edge of Hot Springs, closed and reopened more than once, and now runs a ride park and the Crystal Falls water park on one ticket, which is a better deal than it sounds on a hundred-degree Arkansas afternoon. The rides are a mix of older steel coasters and family attractions rather than anything record-breaking, and there is a concert amphitheatre that brings touring acts in summer. It is strictly seasonal and shut for most of the year.
1701 East Grand Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas, 71901, United States
Strongly seasonal: open roughly from late spring to early autumn, with weekend-only operation at either end of the season and daily opening through the summer, plus a Halloween and a Christmas event season. Closed entirely for much of the winter. The water park operates on a shorter season than the rides. Concert nights have their own schedule. Confirm the operating calendar before travelling - this is the single most common mistake visitors make here.
