Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Stadium · Atlanta, Georgia
The home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, opened in 2017 on the site of the Georgia Dome, and the most architecturally ambitious stadium built in America this century. Its roof is eight triangular petals that retract like a camera aperture, and a video board circles the opening for the full 360 degrees. It has held a Super Bowl, two College Football Playoff finals and an MLS Cup, and it hosts the SEC Championship and the Peach Bowl every year. It is also the building that decided to sell hot dogs for two dollars, which changed stadium pricing across the country.
