Munising Falls
Waterfall · Munising, Michigan
A fifty-foot ribbon of water dropping into a sandstone amphitheatre at the eastern edge of Pictured Rocks, reached by an eight-hundred-foot paved trail from the interpretive centre. It is the easiest significant waterfall to reach in the Upper Peninsula, and in winter it freezes into a column that ice climbers work all season.
1505 Sand Point Road, Munising, Michigan, 49862, United States
Open year-round. Trail ices in winter; the interpretive centre is seasonal.
