Myriad Botanical Gardens
City Botanical Gardens With The Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory; Renovated And Reopened 2022 · Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Fifteen acres of gardens in the middle of downtown Oklahoma City, wrapped around the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, a 224-foot cylinder of steel and acrylic laid on its side above a sunken lake and planted as a tropical rainforest and a desert. The conservatory reopened in 2022 after a major renovation that replaced its panels and rebuilt the paths, and the gardens around it were redesigned with a great lawn, a children's garden with water play and a climbing net, a dog park, an outdoor ice rink in winter and a band shell for free summer concerts. The grounds are free and open every day; the conservatory is ticketed. Outside sit the Devon Tower and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and Scissortail Park is a short walk south across the boulevard.
