Naples

Old Town · Naples, Florida

The wealthiest small city in Florida and one of the wealthiest in the country, laid out on a grid between the Gulf and the mangroves with two shopping streets that function as its centre — Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South. A wooden pier has stood off the beach since 1888, has been destroyed by storms repeatedly, and is rebuilt each time because the town cannot imagine itself without it.

Fifth Avenue South, Naples, Florida, 34102, United States

A public town, open always. Shops keep daytime hours; restaurants run into the evening.
