NASCAR Hall of Fame

Specialty Museum · Charlotte, North Carolina

The hall of fame for American stock car racing, opened in May 2010 in uptown Charlotte because this is where the sport actually lives - the great majority of NASCAR teams are based within an hour of the building. Seventy members have been enshrined as of 2026, three a year. The centrepiece is Glory Road, a banked ramp spiralling up through the atrium carrying eighteen cars at the real banking angles of the tracks they raced on.

400 East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28202, United States

Generally 10 AM to 5 PM Wednesday to Sunday, with expanded hours in summer and around race weekends; often CLOSED MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS in the off season. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Ticketed. Racing simulators and some experiences carry additional charges. It is in uptown Charlotte, attached to the convention centre, and parking is in decks rather than a lot.
