National Ranching Heritage Center

Open Air Museum · Lubbock, Texas

Nineteen acres on the Texas Tech campus holding around fifty authentic ranch structures — dugouts, line camps, bunkhouses, a one-room school, cattle pens, windmills and full ranch houses — each dismantled where it stood across the West and reassembled here in chronological order, so that walking the loop takes you from a 1780s hide-roofed shelter to a 1920s ranch headquarters.

3121 Fourth Street, Lubbock, Texas, 79409, United States

⚠ HISTORICAL PARK HOURS: MONDAY-SATURDAY 10 AM - 4 PM, SUNDAY 1 PM - 4 PM.
