Nichols Arboretum

A hundred and twenty acres of hills, meadow and river bottom running down to the Huron River from the edge of the University of Michigan campus, known locally and universally as the Arb. Its Peony Garden holds the largest collection of heirloom herbaceous peonies in North America, and for two weeks each June that single field is the reason people drive to Ann Arbor.
