Norman Rockwell Museum
Art Museum · Stockbridge, Massachusetts
Thirty-six acres above the Housatonic River outside Stockbridge, holding the largest collection of original Norman Rockwell art anywhere — close to a thousand paintings and drawings by the illustrator whose Saturday Evening Post covers were, for fifty years, the most widely seen pictures in America. Rockwell lived in Stockbridge for the last twenty-five years of his life and his actual studio was moved to the grounds, left as it was on the day he stopped working in it.
