North Cascades National Park

National Park · Sedro-Woolley, Washington

Known as the "American Alps," North Cascades contains more glaciers than any other park in the lower 48 — over 300. This rugged wilderness of jagged peaks, alpine lakes, and cascading waterfalls in northern Washington is one of the least visited national parks, offering extraordinary solitude for those willing to venture in.

810 State Route 20, Sedro-Woolley, Washington, 98284, United States

Park and Highway 20 open May-November (weather dependent). Highway 20 closed mid-November to mid-April.
