One of Florida's first state parks, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, and the place where the Santa Fe River disappears into the ground and stays there for three miles before rising again. A suspension bridge from the CCC era crosses the river above the sink, and the original timber pavilions are still in use.
