Portland's science and technology museum, aimed squarely at children and teenagers, on the east bank of the Willamette. It has three auditoriums including a large-screen theatre and a planetarium, and exhibition halls of hands-on permanent exhibits covering natural sciences, industry and technology, alongside a regular programme of travelling exhibitions. It is a family destination first and it is unusually good at that.
