Pearl River Resort

Resort Area · Choctaw, Mississippi

A casino and golf resort in the pine woods of Neshoba County, owned and operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians on their own land. It opened as the Silver Star in 1994, added the Golden Moon in 2002, and now runs two hotels, the Dancing Rabbit golf courses and the Geyser Falls water park. It is the largest employer in this part of the state and the revenue funds tribal government, schools and healthcare — which is the reason it exists and the reason it is not simply another casino.

13541 Highway 16 West, Choctaw, Mississippi, 39350, United States

The casinos operate around the clock, year round. Hotels, restaurants and the spa keep their own hours and the resort seasons some facilities down in quiet periods — verify before relying on any one of them. DANCING RABBIT GOLF CLUB keeps daylight hours and tee times should be booked ahead. GEYSER FALLS WATER THEME PARK IS SEASONAL, generally summer only, with separate admission. Gaming floors are 21 and over.
