Pittock Mansion
Historic House · Portland, Oregon
A 46-room French Renaissance-style chateau in the West Hills, built in 1914 of Tenino sandstone as a private home for the London-born Oregonian publisher Henry Pittock and his wife Georgiana Burton Pittock. The city's Bureau of Parks and Recreation owns it now and opens it for touring, and it sits on 46 acres a thousand feet above the city - which is why most people come for the view first and the house second.
3229 Northwest Pittock Drive, Portland, Oregon, 97210, United States
