Ponce City Market
Food Market · Atlanta, Georgia
The 1926 Sears, Roebuck and Company building on Ponce de Leon Avenue — for decades the largest brick structure in the southeastern United States, a catalogue warehouse and retail store that later became city offices and then sat mostly empty. It reopened in 2014 as a food hall, shops and offices, with a rooftop of fairground rides and bars on top of it. It sits directly on the Atlanta BeltLine's Eastside Trail, which is the reason it works: people arrive on foot and by bike rather than by car.
675 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, Georgia, 30308, United States
Open daily; the central food hall generally 10:00 to 21:00 or later with individual vendors keeping their own hours within that, and the retail floor closing earlier. Skyline Park on the roof is separately ticketed with its own seasonal hours and closes in bad weather. Free to enter. Parking is charged in the building deck with validation rules that vary by vendor.
