Progressive Field
Stadium · Cleveland, Ohio
The downtown Cleveland ballpark that opened in 1994 and gave the city one of the first of the modern retro-classic parks, its exposed steel light towers deliberately echoing the bridges over the Cuyahoga. It sold out four hundred and fifty-five consecutive games in the late nineties, a record at the time, and for decades a man in the bleachers beat a bass drum through every home game.
2401 Ontario Street, Cleveland, Ohio, 44115, United States
Home games run April to September, with the postseason in October. Stadium tours run on non-game days, mainly in season; off-season tour availability is limited.
