Raging Waves Waterpark

Illinois' largest water park, on the edge of Yorkville about an hour west of Chicago, opened in 2008 and themed loosely and cheerfully on Australia. It runs to a few dozen slides, a wave pool and a long lazy river across a flat site, and it is open for about three months of the year — which is the single most important thing to know about it.
