An adobe ranch house on Bixby Hill in Long Beach whose oldest section dates to around 1800, making it one of the oldest domestic buildings still standing in California. Around it are seven and a half acres of gardens laid out in the 1920s, a working barnyard, and a site that was a Tongva village long before any of it.
