Ravine Gardens State Park

Florida State Park · Palatka, Florida

A Depression-era public works project built into a steep natural ravine at Palatka, where WPA crews in 1933 planted around 95,000 azaleas down the slopes and threw suspension bridges across the gorge. It is one of the very few places in Florida with real vertical relief, and in late winter the whole ravine turns pink and white at once.

1600 Twigg Street, Palatka, Florida, 32177, United States

Open 8:00 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year.
