The geodesic sphere on a concrete shaft that has been the signature of the Dallas skyline since 1978, lit at night and visible from most of the city. The GeO-Deck observation level, around four hundred and seventy feet up, gives the best elevated public view of Dallas available — the whole downtown grid, the Trinity River corridor, the Fair Park dome, and on a clear day the Fort Worth skyline thirty miles west.
