Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Art Museum · Winston-Salem, North Carolina

The 1917 country house of Katharine Smith Reynolds and R. J. Reynolds, founder of the tobacco company, at the centre of what was a 1,067-acre working estate. It opened as a museum of American art in 1965 and now holds a collection running from the colonial period to the present, hung in the rooms of a house that still feels like a house. The formal gardens and the woodland beyond are free, and Wake Forest University sits on land that was once the estate farm.

2250 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27106, United States

Generally 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM Tuesday to Saturday with reduced Sunday hours; CLOSED MONDAYS and major holidays.
