Road America

Racing Circuit · Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin

A four-mile natural-terrain road course laid over 640 acres of Kettle Moraine farmland outside Elkhart Lake, opened in 1955 and — almost uniquely among American circuits — never reconfigured since. Fourteen turns run downhill and up through woods and open field with no run-off to speak of in places, which is why drivers rate it and why it has kept a national reputation for seventy years. It hosts IndyCar, IMSA, MotoAmerica, Trans Am and the SCCA National Championship Runoffs across a season of more than four hundred events.

N7390 State Highway 67, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, 53020, United States

A seasonal racing calendar running roughly May to October, with more than 400 events a year including IndyCar in June, IMSA in late July or early August, MotoAmerica in late May and the SCCA National Championship Runoffs in early October. Gates and prices vary by event. Track days, driving experiences and karting run on non-event days. Little to nothing runs in winter.
