Roscoe Village

Heritage Village · Coshocton, Ohio

A restored canal port on the Ohio and Erie Canal at Coshocton, which was a serious shipping town in the 1830s and had almost entirely decayed by the 1960s before a local family funded its restoration. A horse-drawn boat still works a restored section of canal, which is the only place in Ohio where that happens.

600 North Whitewoman Street, Coshocton, Ohio, 43812, United States

The village street and shops keep ordinary retail hours. THE HISTORIC BUILDINGS AND THE HORSE-DRAWN CANAL BOAT ARE SEASONAL, running roughly late spring to early autumn — confirm before travelling.
