Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park

Industrial Heritage · Richmond, California

The Richmond Kaiser Shipyards built 747 ships in under four years — one Liberty ship, the Robert E. Peary, was assembled in four days and fifteen hours. The park tells the story of the workforce that did it: women and Black workers who moved west by the hundred thousand, and the housing, childcare and segregation they met when they arrived. Admission is free.

1414 Harbour Way South, Richmond, California, 94804, United States

Visitor center typically Wed-Sun 10 AM - 5 PM. Free. Red Oak Victory has separate hours.
