A town of about ninety people midway between Houston and Austin that twice a year becomes the largest antiques show of its kind in the United States — roughly a hundred independent venues spread across eleven miles of Highway 237, in barns, tents and hayfields, drawing a few hundred thousand buyers from across the country. The rest of the year it is a very small town with good pie.
