Ruby City
Art Museum · San Antonio, Texas
A contemporary art centre in a crimson, glittering concrete building designed by David Adjaye, built to hold the collection Linda Pace assembled and left to the city. It is small, deliberate and completely free, and the building itself — a crystalline red form that catches light all day — is as much the point as what hangs inside it.
150 Camp Street, San Antonio, Texas, 78204, United States
⚠ ADMISSION IS ALWAYS FREE — but Ruby City keeps LIMITED OPENING DAYS as a small institution, so CHECK rubycity.org BEFORE TRAVELLING. Parking on site. Chris Park across the street is also free and worth the crossing.
