San Antonio Botanical Garden
Botanical Garden · San Antonio, Texas
Thirty-eight acres northeast of downtown holding formal gardens, a family adventure garden, a working culinary garden and a set of conservatory glasshouses sunk partly below ground to cope with the Texas sun. Its Texas Native Trail walks you through three of the state's ecological regions — Hill Country, East Texas pineywoods and South Texas brush — without leaving the city.
